To enhance the warm tone and smoothness of the blend we introduced a very small quantity of hand-harvested fynbos honey from our own hives, and then blended down.
The result is Six Dogs XO Brandy, complex and smooth on the palate with flavours of peach and apricot and a hint of coconut, and a lingering aftertaste of honey, passion fruit, dried peaches, dates and fig. Smooth enough to appeal to seasoned Cognac drinkers as well as those new to the spirit.
Brandy is released in three small batches - Mahogany, Maple and Oregon - denoting the wood type used on each hand made box that houses the XO Brandy.
A collector’s item, each box is individually engraved with a unique number matching the number on the bottle itself.
