Classic Gin Martini


  • 50ml Deep South Cape Dry Gin
  • 15ml Dry Vermouth
  • Lemon zest spiral
  • 2-3 Savoury olives
  • Orange bitters (optional)


Place martini glasses into the freezer for 10 minutes.  Prepare your garnishes up front.  Slowly pour Deep South Cape Dry Gin and vermouth into a shaker filled with lots of very cold ice (not melting!).  Stir (or shake!) and pour into a very well chilled martini glass.  Add freshly peeled spiral of lemon zest.  Add olives (or a splash of orange bitters).
